In this matter, our team dedicates valuable time in the development of important academic activities and social work in the scope of Criminal Law.
The academic activities include honored participation in the Academia Colombiana de Jurisprudencia, ad-hoc judicial work in the Maximo Tribunal de Justicia, and giving university lectures in the most prestigious Universities of our country, among others.
Social and direct-to-community work is carried out by our Firm within the Fundacion Probono Colombia framework, an entity with background and international recognition that promotes access to justice and provides comprehensive legal advice to the less privileged populations and communities in Colombia.
Colombian Academy of Jurisprudence
Juan Carlos Prías, partner of the firm, is a current member of the Colombian Academy of Jurisprudence (ACJ). From there, he has contributed to the study and development of our legal institutions, proposing constant solutions to social changes and issuing concepts in matters of national importance, in the exercise of public actions of unconstitutionality as well as in general advice.
Membership of this advisory body keeps the firm updated and attentive to the legal debate that is generated within the field of the creation and constant interpretation of the law.
